Innovative Research On The Urban-rural Integration Planning In China

Today, we are living in a society of turning in the new wave of economic globalization. During the social transforming period, there are varies of social contradictions. The dual structure in urban and rural areas has become the focal points of contradictions, which is prominently shown in aspects such as the imbalance of economic development, social security, construction and eco-environment deterioration. In the circumstance of national urban-rural integration, Wujiang city has sized up the situation and intensified the efforts on the work of coordinating urban-rural development based on the economic and social development. Taking the innovation of planning system in the process of integrating the urban and rural districts as study objects, the paper combs the basic theories of urban-rural integration and planning systematically, defining the basic concepts and analyzing the basic principles and frameworks of urban-rural integration planning. And then, by further studying the rules, models and knowledge of the planning system in the process of integrating the urban and rural districts in Wujiang city, the article gives some suggestion on how to innovate the planning system.
