| Labor relations are closely related to our daily lives, which is the basic relation inthe economic society. The problems on labor relations do not only involve the vitalinterests of workers, but also closely related to the development of enterprises, having aprofound impact on the stability of social order and social and economic development.In recent years, our country has been carrying on the beneficial practice andexploration in building a harmonious society,, forming a series of landmarkachievements."The decision on several major issues of building a socialist harmonioussociety" is approved unanimously, in which the scientific concept of developmentproposes to change the developmental model, and fully implements the constructionalrequirements of the harmonious society. Whether the labor relation is harmonious or nothas relationship with the building of a harmonious society being fully successful. So thehandling of labor relations needs to receive high attentions. With the rapid developmentof Chinese economy, various economic elements co-exist with each other, so there aremore and more discordant elements in the labor relations, and has caused other socialproblems, which directly affects the construction of the harmonious society in China.Therefore, the correct handling of discord factors in labor relations plays an importantrole in the development of Chinese marketing economy. In this paper, the author hasanalyzed the status quo of Chinese labor as well as the elaboration of the importance ofharmonious labor relations, and put forward suggestions to build a harmonious laborrelation.The whole paper is divided into five chapters: Chapter1mainly introduces thesignificance of this study, explained the meaning of harmonious labor relations, puttingforward evaluation criteria of harmonious labor relations, and summarizes relatedresearch at home and abroad, as well as the research methods and ideas. Chapter2,mainly analyzes the status quo of Chinese labor relations, problems, and the causes ofsuch problems. Chapter3, describes the characteristics of harmonious labor relations,defining the significance of harmonious labor relations on the development of ourcountry. Chapter4, according to the analysis of the status quo and the problems ofChinese labor-management conflicts, puts forward suggestions to build a harmoniouslabor relations: mainly propose protection of labor relations at different levels, differentperspectives; continue to improve labor law system; strengthen the management oflabor contracts system; strengthen the construction of the communication mechanism ofthe parties in the labor relations, improve the settlement basis of labor relations dispute;guide enterprises to fulfill their social responsibilities; improve the workers' ownqualities.
