| High civilization has brought higher living conditions, people began to seek higher living quality. The requirements of Clothing also change from basic umbrella body to the comfort, health, and environmental protection. In recent years, casual wear and sports wear are increasingly favored by the majority of consumers, consumers also put forward higher requirements:though sweating, clothing does not paste the skin to produce discomfort. Therefore, clothing wicking function catches more and more attention.The object of experimental study was the moisture absorption and perspiration fiber with3.5years efforts of Hongqiang company in shangyu, China, which is modification polyester fibe with honeycomb microporous structure through both inside and outside. The fiber’s biggest feature is:strong Hygroscopicity. In this paper, the fiber was compared with the ordinary polyester. The results showed that the ability of the polyester-modified fibers with honeycomb porous structure is stronger than common polyester in the moisture absorption and liberation. Analyzing the fiber cross section, we can see that the honeycomb structure is beneficial to enhance the ability of fiber’s moisture absorption.Tested fabric comfort properties, including air permeability, moisture absorption and perspiration, thermal conductivity. Through comparely analyzing10different modified polyester fabric and polyester fabric, we find that air permeability is associated with surface density, thickness, lateral density; the polyester-modified fibers with honeycomb porous structure produces lager impact to fabric’s ability of the moisture absorption and liberation; thermal resistance has closer relationship with thickness and surface density. Then did the wearing test. Comparing the subjective test results with objective data, we can see a high correlation between them.By one hand, did the test the fabric basic style and comprehensive style by KES. By another hand, did wearing test to get the subjective evaluation about fabric style and comprehensive style. Finally, analyzed the two test results. Through testing, we can get: stiffness closely links with fabric’s bending, shear; fullness works closely with fabric’s compression; smooth degree is affected by surface roughness and bending stiffness; the objective and subjective evaluation of knitted fabric’s comprehensive style has great difference and the trends are also not similar, while the subjective and objective evaluation of knitted fabric’s bacic style is different in data, but the trends are similar, even though there is slightly different. |
