In our country, with the rapid development of automobile industry, people rely on carswere more and more, the coach was still necessary tool for people to travel if the car was notspread. Recent years, the domestic economy maintained rapid growth, national standard ofliving improved; the transport road of conditions was dramatically raised. The purpose ofcoach transport was operating, Pay more attention to economic performance. So theeconomic performance of coach car was putted forward more and more highly demand.The study of this paper was a coach, the goal was improving the coach’s economyperformance, and the research work has carried out around the matching optimization oftransmission.1) The research and features of the power transmission system matching optimizationresearch was summarized. Dynamic and Economy performance index were analyzed. Finallythe evaluation index for the car’s power, fuel economy was putted forward.2) The functions and steps of modeling of AVL-Cruise software were introduced; Themathematical model of the Engine, Gearbox, Clutch, Wheel modules were analyzed, TheMotor coach simulation model was built by using Cruise software. At last, it performanceand economic performance were simulation.3) According as the national standard, the road vehicle test was carried on, the powerand economy performance were determination, Make vehicle road test and measure relatedperformance evaluation index, the simulation results and the real vehicle testing results werecompared to verify the credibility of the model.4) The transmission ratio, Final drive ratio was as variable; the economic performancewas as target function, so, the transmission parameters optimization model was established.Using experimental design principles, make gear box, single ratio transmission asexperimental design factors, the experimental parameters combination was determine, Use ofCruise software power matching calculation, all of the experiment combination schemecalculated at the same time. According to the constraint condition, choose the optimalmatching combination scheme.The optimal matching combination scheme was tested, the power and economyperformance were Statistical, and vehicle performance with the original scheme wascompared. The optimal matching was proved correctness.The results showed that the power transmission system matching optimization technology strategy was reasonable and effective. In the vehicle manufacturing, designerscan use the matching optimization method, matching of related parts of power transmissionsystem, so as to the product development cycle was shorten, the design quality andproduction efficiency was improved.
