In China, with the sustained and rapid growth of economy, the auto industry development, by the end of 2012 car ownership has more than 100 million mark, as more and more cars into the daily life of ordinary people, people’s consumption concept to cars are becoming more and more rational, in the degree of attention in the economy and power performance of automobile is increasing day by day.The research object of this paper is a senior car developed by our company, in order to further optimize the car fuel economy, we use the DOE test design method, the car power transmission system is optimized and matching, the main work content three aspects can be summarized as follows:1. An overview of the current state of the matching optimization of power transmission system in China and abroad is summarized, and summarized the characteristics of domestic and foreign power transmission system matching optimization research. The evaluation index of the power and fuel economy is analyzed, and the related performance index is analyzed briefly;2. The engine, transmission, clutch, main reducer, driver and other modules of the simulation software AVL Cruise are analyzed, and the simulation model of the vehicle is built. Then, the power and fuel economy of the car are simulated and the vehicle road test is carried out; Finally, the simulation results are compared with the results of the vehicle road test, which verifies the correctness and rationality of the model;3. Using the idea of DOE design, to match the 4 kinds of main reducer and 2 kinds of transmission, clear transmission and the main reducer of the matching combination scheme; and then use simulation software AVL_Cruise to simulate the power assembly, and through the comparative analysis to get the required matching combination scheme; secondly, to determine the power transmission system matching and optimization scheme is correct; finally, the optimized scheme of vehicle test verification.The final result shows that, in this paper the method and technology of the power transmission system matching and optimization are reasonable and effective, in vehicle development, designers using this method can fast effective choose suitable for the vehicle transmission system, shorten the development cycle, save a lot of manpower and material resources, improve the economic benefit of enterprise.
