Transplanting mechanism is the core component of rice transplanter, its performance determines the level of rice transplanter. At present, the line spacing of high-speed rice transplanter which is used for production is fixed, that is, the distance between the transplanting arm is immutable. So it can only meet the requirements of a certain area of operation. It can not meet the requirements of diversification of rice cropping systems, and in hence, it limits the improvement of rice planting mechanization level. For the line spacing can be adjusted, the adjustable line spacing, high-speed rice transplanter is better able to adapt the work environment, at the same time, it can meet the requirements of most parts of the cropping systems. Therefore designing adjustable line spacing, high-speed rice transplanter can improve the scope of the use, and it will promote the improvement of the level of mechanization of rice cultivation.The key technology is not only to achieve the line spacing adjustable, but also to ensure the consistent of various agencies collaborative work. The stability between drop institutions and regulatory agencies directly determines the overall performance, while regulatory agencies have some impact to stability of drop institutions to a certain extent. So it is necessary to analyze the stability of drop institutions and regulatory agencies. In the article, it proposes the feasibility and necessity according the shortcomings of the broad applicability of the existing transplanter. And it also gives a program of the overall design. It describes in detail the design parameters of the regulatory agencies, and analyzes the influence factors of the structure of the regulatory agencies to the drop institutions. It executes the kinematics and dynamics of the theoretical analysis of oval gear planetary drop institutions. And it uses virtual prototyping technology for kinematical simulation analysis on stability. The main contents of the study include:(1) It gives the program of machine design, including the design of the shift box, regulatory agencies and seedling box, and describes the work of coordination between agencies. Specially, it discusses in detail the parameters of the design of the regulatory agencies.(2) It analyzes the work performance of drop institutions which is combined with regulatory agencies and drop institutions, and gets the equations of kinematic and dynamic.(3) It establishes a3-D model by Pro/E, which creates profile curve in CAXA software first, and then builds3-D model of the oval gear in Pro/E software.(4) It makes the theoretical analysis of the relationship, then does the simulation analysis in ADAMS software. The result show that the design of institutions can meet the requirements, but need to do further optimization work.
