Objective:To observe the effects of moxibustion preconditioning on serum levels of IL-1β,IL-2and Stomach tissue in Rats with Stress Induced Gastric Mucosal Lesions after Cutting off the vagus nerve and to explore the mechanism of moxibustion in preventing gastric mucosa from inflammatory injury。Methods:40SD rats were randomly allocated to normal group, model group, moxibustion group and the group of Cutting off the vagus nerve,each with10rats. After8days of pretreatment,the rats except those normal group and model group were received moxibution.And then all rats were absolute diet24hours.The rats except those in normol group were received water absolute alcohol to induce stress-induced gastric mucosal lesions,and the rats in normol group were received physiological saline.24hours later,the histomorphologic changes were observed under the light microscope,and the contents of IL-1βand IL-2in blood serum were detected by radioimmunoassay.Result:1、The damage index of gastric mucosa of the moxibution at acupoints group significantly decreased, which was great significantly different from that of the normal group and the moxibution at non-acupoints group (P<0.01).2、The contents of IL-1β in blood serum and gastric mucosa of model rats was decreased by moxibustion at "Zusanli", and the contents of IL-2in blood serum and gastric mucosa of model rats was increased, which was obviously higher than that at the vagus nerve neurotomy group (P<0.05or P<0.01)3、Compared with the vagus nerve neurotomy group, the contents of IL-1βin blood serum and gastric mucosa of the non-neurotomy group was decreased with remarkable difference (P<0.05or P<0.01)4, Compared with the vagus nerve neurotomy group, the contents of IL-2in blood serum and gastric mucosa of the non-neurotomy group was increased with remarkable difference (P<0.05)Conclusion:(1) Pre-moxibustion which has relative point speciality can improve the histomorphology and depress the damage index of gastric mucosa of model rats.Cuting off the vagus nerve will interfere obviously the protective effect.(2) Pre-moxibustion can reduce the contents of IL-1β in blood serum of gastric mucosa damage rats promote cell proliferation and repair tissue(3) Pre-moxibustion can raise the contents of IL-2in blood serum of gastric mucosa damage rats promote cell proliferation and repair tissue.(4) Pre-moxibustion can encourage reparation of cell multiplication in gastric mucosa of model rats by the influence of neuromodulation, neural pathways is the important adjustment way in the signal transduction pathway of ERK.
