With the constant development of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language,there are more and more studies on Vietnamese students’ acquisition in Chineseprojects. But most of the achievements focus on error analysis, ignoring the correctusage of Chinese interlanguage. This paper adopts the comparative analysis theory,error analysis theory and interlanguage theory as the guiding theory. According tocorpus approach, error analysis and comparative analysis, this paper attempts tosystematically analyze and describe the general picture of correct use and misuseof Chinese six sentence elements by Vietnamese students at advanced stage. Thispaper also probes the formation reasons and gives some comments forimprovement. The whole paper is composed of five parts.The first part introduces the reasons and significance of this paper, andsummarizes the previous study achievements. It also discusses research scope,origin of the corpus, the research ideas and purpose, theoretical basis and researchmethods.The second part systematically analyzes the proper usage and error usagewhen Vietnamese students at advanced stage use Chinese attributive, adverbial,complement, subject, predicate and object.The third part describes the general picture of sentence elements used byVietnamese students.The fourth part analyzes the reasons for the problems and comes up withrelevant suggestion for improvement from the perspective of both teachers andstudents.The fifth part is conclusion.
