Folk art is the Chinese traditional culture is splendid and rich treasure, and itis invisibly spiritual wealth of society. It is rooted in the folk, and it contains strong andsincere emotion. It is a medium which connects sentiment of people. With thedevelopment of industrial society, people’s living standard is very high. And consumersare no longer satisfied with highly rational industrial manufactured goods. They preferthe product of humanization, and begin to pursuit nature and warm. Folk art begins itsreturn. Folk art is a kind of valuably intangible cultural heritage. In our country, moreand more people attend and protect it, and some of the works have been treasured in themuseum. But only the protection is not enough. It comes from the folk, and it is publicart, so it should live in folk, and develop in modern life. In the process of globaleconomic integration, the folk art is gradually moving toward the road ofindustrialization. As a kind of national culture and native culture is shining uniquebrilliance of life, but the crisis of development is existing. It is important topics towardfolk art in modern society to develop continuously, how the traditional process tosurvive in today’s society, how to adapt to the rapid development of market economy,and how to realize more cultural value and economic value. So implementation of brandstrategy and a good design of brand image, can make folk art better adapt to the newsituation of modern industry society.This article aims at the current lack of brand concept of folk art industry, andthe deficiencies image and design comes from enterprises which have implementedbrand strategy. This article proposed the folk art industry needed a good brand image,and pay attention to overall and innovative design of the brand image. That is not onlyconducive to the folk art in modern society steady inheritance, but also beneficial forimproving the economic benefits of the folk art industry. This article analysised thebrand development situation of folk art industry, found out the problems and the brandimage design strategy of folk art industry, and how to promote design of the brandimage about folk art industry. Finally, the article pointed out the sustainabledevelopment strategy of the brand image of folk art.
