With the recent economic development and the process of ref orming and opening-up,the divorce phenomenon in recent years has continue d to rise, and divorce has become widespread life events in modern society. Teenagers are the blossom of our motherland and the future, more and mor e mental health and behavioral problems of teenagers in single-parent familie s has become the concerns of the community. Education, psychology, social psychology and criminology are increasingly concerned about the healthy gro wth of teenagers,in the past half century, there are a lot of researches on t he teenagers of single-parent families both domestic and overseas. With the continuous open social consciousness, divorce has increasingly become an ea sily acceptable social behavior, and children of single-parent.families are no t subjected to the same social discrimination as20years ago.This article is mainly with qualitative research method to study self-copi ng styles of the Grade One junior middle school students in single-parent fa milies, from the students’own perspectives, to think about and interpret par ents divorced impact, and how they cope with the problems of economy、1earning、interpersonal relationship which caused by the parental divorce.T he results of qualitative research are:Grade One junior high school students can take the initiative to respond to the problems which caused by parental divorce, but still can not do without the support and guidance of parents a nd teachers; guardian’s care、support and understanding to the children of an immediate impact on whether they can adjust their state autonomously or no t; sustained non-custodial care of children will make them easier to accept the fact that their parents had divorced, the appropriate love and understan ding to the children will minimize damage which caused by the parental di vorce.
