Redundancy in the summary language reflects the inconsistenciesbetween linguistic expressions and expression. Known as redundantnegation, refers to those in the form of "不、没、别" negative component, butit does not mean that they are in negative meaning. Students learn Chinese,will naturally have access to redundant negative phenomena, and theknowledge of how this phenomenon be understood, how to use in their dailylives, what problems can occur during using. This article through aquestionnaire form, examining students on Chinese redundant negationformat’s ability to understand and use, community on issues related to theteaching of the purpose of attracting attention and try to put forward toproposals.Introduction, introduce the conception of redundant negation, account ofthe study on the object, content and method in this article.Chapter Ⅰ, recalling the negative concept of redundancy, we found thatresearch results before are based on Chinese itself, but how do foreignstudents understand this negative phenomenon, how to enhance this specialphenomenon when teaching, there are still some blank. By investigating inpopular foreign teaching materials, this article research objects are locked tothe negative phenomena that appears more frequently, including "差点儿(没)VP","好(不)容易","(不)一会儿","(没)……之前",“难免(不)","小心(别)"and so on, to explore their problems in teaching Chinese as foreign languageand try to give some teaching suggestions.Chapter Ⅱ, determined investigation methods and objects, and illustratesthe design and form of the questionnaire. Statistics on survey results andobservations students’ comprehension of redundancy occurs when negativephenomena in Chinese errors.Chapter Ⅲ, based on the survey results, conclude studentsunderstanding of the phenomenon of redundant negation and the use of errortypes, and in conjunction with our predecessors on the phenomenon ofredundant negation ontology studies respectively on "差点儿(没)VP","好(不)容易","(不)一会儿","难免(不)"and"小心(别)"and so on, triesto identify students’ comprehension and causes errors when using thisphenomenon.The fourth chapter, attempt to use redundancy for the students ’comprehension and negative phenomena emerging issues put forward someteaching suggestions.
