Along with the higher social level of China, more and more foreigners study Chinese in their countries or coming to China. So Teaching Chinese as a foreign language gets the attention of all the professors, even the society. As a part of Teaching Chinese as a foreign language, Teaching Chinese Characters gets a further development. Professors put forward numerous authorities, and teachers get lots of experience and set up new methods of teaching Chinese Characters.This paper is based on the development of Chinese Characters. It uses logical and practical methods and deeply researches the features of Chinese Characters, the function of Chinese Characters, and students who are at the intermediate stage. According to these features, this paper designs practical and pertinence teaching designs. These designs have been tested by students, and the result proves that they are feasible.This paper deigns three teaching methods based on the pronunciation, the shape and the cultural. In the first part, it introduces the analysis to the function of Chinese Characters and the strategies of the teaching Chinese Characters. Firstly, it analyses the relationship of basic features of Chinese Characters and teaching Chinese Characters. Secondly, it arranges authorities of teaching Chinese Characters. Lastly, it puts forward teaching strategies about Korean students who is in the intermediate stage. In the second part, it designs some schemes in the light of Korean students who are in the intermediate stage. Firstly, it investigates the situation that the students learn, then analyses it. Secondly, it designs some schemes based on the pronunciation, the shape and the cultural. Lastly, it summarizes the effect of those designs and the problem they have. In the third part, it puts forwards some suggestions about teaching Chinese Characters, including we should pay attention to the researches about the basics of Chinese Characters, teachers should pay attention to the reading and writing, and teach in many different ways, for example, splitting and combination, we should set up required courses and we should set up elective course.
