Objective:To discuss the difference of Career Decision-Making Self-efficacy of nursingstudents with different academic background in Changchun City due to their grades,educational background; And discuss effect of the general data on nursing students’Career Decision-Making Self-efficacy, thus providing the basis for educationaccording to different degree of nursing students employment guidance.Subject:Studied a random sample of4nursing schools of1028students participant in thesurvey in Changchun city in Sep.2012. The subjects are divided into groups accordingto academic background:522undergraduate students,281universities and collegesstudents,225trade school students.Methods:We use the questionnaire of OSCE of graduates which was designed by Huyanghong and verified by the test of reliability and validity as the study tool and themethod individual interview and literary information to compare and analyze thescores of OSCE of nursing undergraduates and make conclusion lastly. The OSCE ofgraduates consist of six factors. They are self-concept, self-evaluation, socialsupport, occupational information collection, academic achievement and intendingobjects. All the data are put into the software of SPSS17.0for windows to analyze andthe statistic methods are factorial analysis and Chi-square test and regressionanalysis. Result:1. Score of the Career Decision Making Self-Efficacy of the whole nursingstudents is3.48±0.5222. The level of efficacy, self-concept, self-evaluation social support, occupationalinformation calculation, intending objects of different academic background students has significant difference (P <0.05).3. The level of efficacy, self-concept, self-evaluation social support, studycapacity, intending objects of undergraduate students with difference grade hassignificant different(P <0.05);universities and colleges and trade school students hasno significant difference in grade level, The score of social support of grade1students of universities and colleges is higher than grade2(P<0.05); The score ofoccupational information collection of grade2students of trade school is higherthan grade1.4. The result of multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that: grade、academic background、the place of student source、 Internship experience、parents’ educational background、 like nursing specialty or not influence nursingstudents’ CDMSE.Conclusion:1. The CDMSE of nursing students is on the upper and middle level.2. Distribution trend of CDMSE of different academic background students isdifferent.3. Distribution trend of CDMSE of different grade with different academicbackground is different.4. Grade、 academic background、the place of student source、 Internshipexperience、 parents’ educational background、like nursing specialty or notinfluence nursing students’ CDMSE.
