Translation Practice Report Of Long Sentences In English For Specific Purposes

With China’s accession to the WTO, the success of the29th Olympic Games, China has increasingly frequent exchanges with the international community in political, economic, technological, cultural and other fields. Translators in the working process will be exposed to more and more English for specific purposes materials, and in the translation of the English for Specific Purposes materials, one of the most difficult problems is the translation of long sentences, therefore, this article intends to analyze the translation strategies of long sentences in English for Specific Purposes based on the translation practice in order to provide some valuable reference for those students who will encounter the similar translation practice problems in their future translation work.
