The urbanization of migrant workers which is the developmentand extension for our China’s urbanization is the fundamentalmethod to solve the problem of migrant workers in China and theimportant way to deal with the farming problem - Agriculture,Countryside and Farmer issues. The migrant workers’urbanizationis favorable for the development to socialist harmonious society,the healthy and rapid development tour china’s city urbanization thesmooth development to our economy and the optimization to ourindustrial structure. Aim to research several issues about theurbanization of migrant workers in small and medium-sized cities,the text begin from the aspect - the new generation of migrantworkers, using analysis as the main method and interview as thehelper method and finally sum up the characteristics of the newgeneration of migrant workers and the performance of thecitizenization.This thesis consists of six chapters: the first chapter is thepreface mainly discussing the background and significance of theresearch, the definition of the core concepts and the main research method mainly adopted by the article; the second chapter is tosummarize the domestic relevant literature; the third chapter thischapter introduce the general situation of our China’s citizenizationand the development of the migrant workers’citizenization; the fifthchapter is mainly about the analysis to the obstacle factors of thenew generation of migrant workers’citizenization, by means of theinvestigation to the characteristics of the new generation ofmigrant workers and the performance of the citizenization; thesixth chapter put forward the ways and suggestions for the newgeneration of migrant workers’citizenization aiming at the obstaclefactors for that.The study results in this text show that the new generation ofmigrant workers’citizenization are influenced mainly by the followfactors: institutional, social management, social identity and themigrant workers’self-quality factors. To achieve the newgeneration of migrant workers’citizenization, we should put ourhand to follow respects: the first–to reform the householdregistration and social security system; the second–to strengthenthe management for the new generation of migrant workers; thethird–to strengthen the management for the community andimprove the social identity for the new migrant workers enhancingtheir sense of belonging; the forth–improve their quality.
