As an important part of Chinese culture, idioms, the essence of Chinese culture, also occupies an important place in teaching Chinese as a second language。Foreigners are very interested in Chinese idioms because they’re rich in Chinese culture。If you want to master the Chinese idioms, in addition to a solid basic knowledge of Chinese, you should also have a very deep understanding of Chinese culture。So teaching Chinese as a second language must be language teaching and also be culture teaching,and it should include cultural knowledge while teaching language.But the students’systematic understanding of Chinese idioms first comes from teaching materials。Excellent teaching materials is not only good for the learning of students,but also for the instruction of teachers。The purpose of this paper is to provide reference for teaching Chinese as a second language。At the same time, in order to enable developing Chinese textbook perfect and make teacher’s teaching better, I put forward my views and suggestions.The whole paper is divided into four parts:the first part is introduction, it explains the background and significance of this paper. The second part investigates and analyzes the idioms in developing Chinese。The third part points out some shortages of idioms and make a summary of recommendations。And the last part points out shortcomings in teachers’teaching and puts forward my views and suggestions.The innovation of this paper is that as teaching material, developing Chinese should focus on the teaching of idioms,outline the idioms such as plirases.proverbs and so one The editors may also consider increasing the idiom knowledge-plates, because it’s not only good for the students’ understanding but also good for editing.It is also recommended that editors may consider adding some two-part allegorical sayings in the appropriate collection in the future.
