Study On The Long-term Care Under China’s Population Aging

As Population aging is becoming the irreversible tendency of the development of the world’s population structure, every county attaches much importance in care challenges brought by population aging, china is not an exception. The old people, who are more able to be sick because of physical peculiarities, need to accept long-tern care. With the family miniaturization, the long-term care becomes a social problem. Further, the high level of spending in care service, the limit of social security, all make people feel worried about their senectitude, especially for the aged. Therefore, it is very important to establish the long-term care security system. Through analysis on the successful international long-term care in developed countries such as America, Germany, Japan, Great Britain, this article explicates the significance of their experience for China, and discusses the suitable path of long-term care system for senior people. Besides, this thesis also stresses the role of family in the socialization process of the long-term care, which determined by our special culture background. At the end of the thesis, the problems arisen in the development of the long-term care, is analyzed with some counter-measures and suggestions in conception, code, the responsibility of parts, and supporting measures.
