The cadet management as a regular work is not only the needs of the normal work in military academies, but also directly influence and restrict the generation of comprehensive quality of students. Since the Sixteenth Meeting of Military Academies, the military professional education has entered a new period for development. With the expansion of the scale of education, the level of education has been enhanced, so the cadet management under the military professional education is facing severe challenges. Firstly, the management objects have diversified hierarchy, complicated enrollment motivation, and the diverse real problems; secondly, management mechanism facing obstacles that incentive and restraint mechanism is not perfect, and coordination and communication channels are unblocked; thirdly, management meet the difficulties that part of the cadres leaders can’t fully understand the characteristics and laws of educational management toward professional education students, the education policy of the state and military institutions, as well as the status and successful experience of professional education management both inside and outside the country; so managers tend simply to adapt to their experience or purely executive order, also the quality of them doesn’t work with the professional education reform and development; fourthly, there exists deviation of cognition in management philosophy, and managers are troubled with weak educational awareness and simple working methods. Above all, first, we must thoroughly study the characteristics and laws of such management, highlight the focus that education educating people, do well in the role conversion education, learn the education of incentives, security situation and daily random education; next perfect the two mechanisms of strict management and collaborative management in institutions; then optimize three contingents (faculty, cadres and cadres leaders) to achieve self-management; last, innovate four modes of people management, flexible management, teaching management and integrated management.
