Culture and crime are inextricably linked. Along with the rapid development of the social economy,science and technology in China, computer networks and mobile networks have developed into the most competitive new media, played an increasingly important positive role in the process of development of young people. The new media has become an important window for adolescence to understand the community and the world. However the various subculture in the new media beyond the constraints of time and space, profoundly affected the values,worldview and behavior of the majority of young people.Therefore, the study of new media subculture is practical and important.Juvenile delinquency has been a topical issue of Criminology. Subculture in the new meida have more forms of performance and communication, lead to a new social deviance and crime type. Subcultures in the new media, spread rapidly in the youth sub-populations through digital and high-speed mode of transmission, not only affected the harmony and stability of our society,but also changed the socialization process and behavior of youths.Currently, juvenile delinquency is gradually showing a grim trend:the age of the offenders is getting smaller,they are less educated,the crime means are more mature and the consequences of crime are more serious. The youths can learn quickly through internet, mobile phones and other new media.In this paper, the survey shows that the new media has a high utilization rate of juvenile offenders. New media subcultures may induce young people to commit a crime.The new media subcultures are the cultural factors that lead to juvenile delinquency. Currently, new media subcultures is not precisely defined. Therefore, we must first accurately distinguish the subcultures and its variety of Criminology. Then,we use strain theory and differential assciation theory to analyze the cultural conflict status quo in the new media and the mechanism of new media subculture and juvenile delinquency process.As digital technology continues to progress, the new media subcultures have more different types, which lead to different crime tendencies. Therefore, in order to delve into the interaction between subcultures and juvenile delinquency, the subcultures in the new media are divided into four types:the subcultures of violence, pornography subcultures, gang subcultures, and other sub-cultural elements. With the investigation data of the juvenile reformatory, we can analyze the the performance and characteristics of each type of new media subcultures and the mechanism of interaction.The prevention and treatment of subcultures is a systematic and comprehensive project.Specific prevention measures divided into four areas, including the legal, educational, social and technical aspects.With legislative, administrative, technical means to strengthen social monitoring and management,to promote the formation of rational values of the young people in the new media age.This paper focus on the topic of new media subcultures and juvenile delinquency. From the perspective of criminology, cultural studies and sociology,we can use the data of literature research, survey and case analysis to study the deviant subcultures and crime subculture in the new media. The new meida subcultures are divided into different types,each subculture has its own mechanism between juvenile delinquency in the new media.With the analysis of the relationship between the subculture and juvenile delinquency, this paper provide a theoretical reference for the prevention of juvenile delinquency in China.
