In2007, the ministry of education issued ‘the deaf school duty education curriculumexperiment scheme’ and ‘compulsory education curriculum society-adaptation school experimentscheme’, based on the background of new curriculum reform, it has new requirements for specialeducation, but the unified course plan set by state does not promote the students’ development,part of va successful experience in school-based curriculum is mainly because of regionaldifferences, this is only a reference to other special education schools. Special education is basedon its objective of the particularity and requirements in the school characteristics development andalso need to develop school-based courses. This article’s exploration is based on the presentsituation of X school (X school is the deaf and mentally disabled children school in Ganzhou) andanalyze the problems in the process of developing school-based courses, summarizes the mainexistence of school-based curriculum in four aspects:1) insufficient funding;2) shortage ofteachers, and teachers’ professional level to ascend;3) the problems in development ofschool-based curriculum;4) social support is insufficient, hindered the development ofschool-based curriculum. In view of the above four aspects: the author has pointed to put forwardthree suggestions:1) pay attention and adjust the school-based curriculum;2) the construction ofteachers’ team, improve teachers’ professional level;3) strengthen the exchanges and cooperationwith the society to get support and social resource aid.
