In the era of knowledge economy, talent, especially the decisive force in theapplication of innovative talents for a country’s overall strength should not be overlooked;Therefore, at a national conference on education, General Secretary Hu Jintao stressedthe need to vigorously develop education, to build comparatively well-off society in theround, thus promoting the construction of socialist modernization. In the NPC andCPPCC, there are many voices from various representative, they proposed to vigorouslydevelop education of occupation, to fill the current population shortage. This thingadumbrative our country occupation education reform development ushered in a newrecovery of all things spring. The higher occupation education as the occupationeducation is an important part, must take training applied innovative talents as theunshirkable responsibility and mission.CDIO represents the conception, design, implement, operate; mainly in product R&D products to run the whole life cycle as the carrier, lets the student in the carrier to theinitiative, practice, course between organic connection methods to study the engineeringtheory knowledge, practical experience and ability. CDIO training outline of engineeringability of the graduates are divided into four levels, which are the basis of professionalknowledge, personal ability, team cooperation ability and work ability of the system, theoutline requirements in a comprehensive training method, so that engineering students inthe aspects of achieving the goal, has the very strong operation and the application.CDIO outline is presented with the ability to target and the higher occupation educationin cultivating talents with application and innovation ability overall quality and abilityrequirements with high affinity.School of Vocational Education of Yunnan University of Nationalities is affiliatedto Yunnan University of Nationalities specifically applied to Cultivate Higher VocationalUndergraduate Comprehensive Applied Institute, the college in2002July to set up, has always been to the market and the employment as the guidance, with market demandclosely integrated to advance students’ employment, the main cultivation production andconstruction, management service line need of applied talents of technology. The spirit ofschool is based on vocational education, follow the law, introduce enterprise mechanism,policy of have the aid of strength, integration of high quality resources, do a brandbenefits of school running orientation, and open, cooperation, innovation, quality theschool idea, innovative personnel training mode, the college has to the whole of Yunnanprovince and even whole nation culture a large number of solid basic theory andprofessional knowledge, has the good application of knowledge of the method, has thefull solid technology application and innovation ability of application talents.This thesistakes School of Vocational Education of Yunnan University of Nationalities as a case,the work of personnel training present situation carries on the questionnaire survey, theobjective description, and found problems, combined with CDIO education concepts,exploring the training mode of applied innovative talents, mainly from the talent trainingmode of training objectives, training process, training system and training evaluation infour aspects, CDIO education and training applied innovative talents are the organicintegration.This thesis is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction, the topics of reason and significance are elaboratedin this section. A Comprehensive Review on the research status of domestic and abroadis given on the basis of the literature, and finally this part introduced the researchmethods of this paper.From the second part began to enter into the text, the first chapter of this paper is toanalyse the situation of higher vocational education reform in China, mainly introducedthe our country’s higher vocational education development history and the presentsituation, at last, analyzed the higher vocational education reform and development trend,explain train applied the innovation talented person is the trend of the Times. The third part is the second chapter of the paper, which introduces the generalsituation of the talent training mode of School of Vocational and Technical Education ofYunnan University of Nationalities. the author introduces the achievements and problemsin the reform and development of the college talent training mode; the author mainly getsthe data through the questionnaire survey, then uses the statistical tools for analysis. Thenthe achievements and existing problems of the current talent training mode are elaborated.The fourth part is the third chapter of the paper, this part expounds the theoryresearch of applied and innovative talent training mode which based on CDIO concept.First introduced the general situation of the CDIO, including CDIO concept definition,the basic connotation of the CDIO in engineering education and the introduction of thebasic situation of CDIO applications outside of engineering education; And then appliedto introduce the definitions of innovative talents, talent education mode, applied andinnovative talent training mode; Finally expounded the fit of CDIO education conceptand applied and innovative talent training mode, and how CDIO education idea appliedto the modern service industry.The fifth part is the core part of the paper, this article first discusses the principle ofconstructing the applied and innovative talent training mode based on CDIO concept,Finally from four aspects which are the training objectives, and training process, trainingsystem and training evaluation, design the basic framework of the applied and innovativetalent training mode based on CDIO concept. The connotation and characteristics ofCDIO-based applied and innovative talent training mode are summarized at last.The sixth part is the conclusion, this part of the whole paper is a general summary,create the main point of view, and I hope to give some help to cultivate students in futurework of the School of Vocational and Technical Education of Yunnan University ofNationalities.
