With the development of economy and society, our country has paid more and moreattention on the development of secondary vocational education, secondary vocational educationcontinue to increase the special input. Since 2006, the central government has offered 300 billionyuan of funds for poor students in secondary vocational education. In 2009, education is free forstudents who are from poor families and those who major in agriculture. In 2010, poorhouseholds in urban areas can also enjoy free education. Thus, more than 4 million studentsbenefited from the policy. China spends 20 billion yuan per year for those secondary vocationalschool students in the school life for grants. And public finance to guide more teenagers withsecondary vocational applicants. The central government spent about 10 billion yuan directly tomore than 12 million students. That’s about 90% in the total students of Grade one and Gradetwo in vocational schools. Funding and policy measures to free the two major party and the statereflects the importance of vocational education, vocational school students in the care of.Premier Wen Jiabao once said in the "long-term education-oriented". In terms of these grants, weprovided the best treatment to education.[1]Just a few years, from the grants to free study,vocational education reform has achieved a breakthrough with the employment rate of vocationalschool students over 95%.However, besides all the above, we should also see that the present vocational educationfocuses more on practice while less on theory; more on moral, less on accomplishment. But onlymore moral can not satisfy the various spiritual demands as well as the sustainable developmentof human resources. In the vocational education reform, especially reform of vocationaleducation courses, the value of the discipline of history stands out for the spiritual world to leadthe students and the overall quality of training, which helps students develop positive values,view of the world, in line with the requirements of the times. The paper as a starting point,combined with actual work analyzed the way and policies of cultivation of History in vocationalschools.This paper makes up of introduction, body and conclusion. The introduction, focuses on thebackground and significance, research, research methods and ideas. Body part is divided intothree chapters. The first chapter mainly discusses on why the education of History is ignored invocational schools and its results. The second part focuses on the necessary and feasibility ofhistory education and overall quality of training. The third part clarified how to improve andperfect History education in vocational schools and some valuable advice for overall quality oftraining for vocational school students. Conclusion is made of history education in secondary vocational schools should pay attention to aspects of proposed, to ensure the overall quality ofthe training effective.
