In recent years, the rapid development of modern information technology has brought new challenges and opportunities for the teaching of basic education. Futurists agreed that in information society, a large number of labor forces have engaged in the processing and production of different kinds of information. The ability of reading, writing by computer, accessing network equipments is far more important than traditional reading and writing. Facing the Challenge, traditional teaching of writing, no matter in nature or in function, needs to be reset. This means traditional teaching methodology needs to be reformed and traditional teaching model needs to be improved. The transformation to educational research and teaching provides a perfect platform and an ideal teaching environment as well as provides a new opportunity to address the problems of students’low interests in writing, writing without affection or following the same writing pattern in traditional teaching of writing. Network writing teaching is generated in this background; it is a product of combination of modern information technology and the Chinese language teaching new concepts as well as a useful attempt of researchers’efforts to solve the difficult issue of writing in language teaching.What network information technology brings to teaching of writing is mainly about changes in forms and technology, which will enrich our teaching methods, but won’t make writing teaching oriented to technologized instrumentalist. So the researcher put the instruction of writing under the guidance of modern educational theory, use modern information technology to design, develop, manage and evaluate the process of writing learning and teaching, and promote the modernization of writing teaching, improve learners’writing skills.By concluded and analyzed the current background of new curriculum reform, the current status of domestic research and modern educational theories, this thesis attempted to design and develop a network teaching platform to satisfy the needs of new curriculum concepts and reform of composition teaching.Because blog’s advantage of "non requirements-access"(that is, non-editing, non-technology, non-cost, non-form), by the combination of design features and usage situation with multiple platforms of network writing teaching, the researcher built a teaching platform of writing in the blog after analyzed its user needs, usage features and advantages, which better integrated network and writing teaching. And platform-related function modules and main page design were introduced at the same time.Based on literature review, survey and interviews as well as analysis and summary of teaching design, teaching strategies and teaching models of writing teaching on the blog platform, this thesis pointed out the feasibility, scientific, collaboration, expansibility, integration and subjectivity six principles of teaching design that blog writing instruction should be followed; worked out a strategy of "three-step creative writing"; summarized teaching models of blog discussion salon, sequel writing to stories, model essay appreciation and special training for writing skills; listed some comparably typical scholars on network writing teaching and front-line educators as a classic case, such as Professor Liu Haitao of Zhanjiang Normal College, Guangdong province, he has a deep research on network writing teaching and has ever been invited by Higher Education Press to have touring lectures on network writing teaching all over the country; another educator, Mr. Su Haiping of Shilong No. three Middle School of Dongguan, Guangdong province, he is in the information-developed Pearl River Delta region, his blog on writing teaching has ever attracted the attention of local Department of Education. The Education Bureau in the area has invited him to give a public demonstration lesson on the topic "innovation-based writing teaching on a model of blog platform" for all the local teachers.In the end, the thesis gave a summary and reflection of various challenges and puzzles to network writing teaching. By the hope that educators, in the practice and exploration of implementation network composition teaching, should avoid the disadvantages, effectively integrate modern information technology with our composition teaching in order to change the difficult situation in Chinese language writing, to avoid coming into a dead end within which old problems are unresolved while new problems spring up.
