At present, improving the quality of higher education is the core of the urgent task and the quality isthe lifeline of the higher education reform. The essential embodiment of higher education teaching qualityis the learning situation of the students. Therefore, the research of higher education reform should firstinsight into the students’ learning conditions, developing the higher education reform measures tocontribute students learning. However, from the information retrieval teaching reform in colleges anduniversities at present situation, a few researches are based on the students’ learning situation, a variety ofsolution are not very in-depth, interoperability is not strong, and difficult to guide practice.Based on present condition, this study conducted a survey on students’ learning situation. Based onsurveys by the theoretical summary and analysis, this thesis proposes higher education reform should takemeasures. The research makes the students’ learning situation questionnaire to survey Henan provinceHenan University, Zhengzhou University, Henan University of Economics and Law,800undergraduatestudents were learning about present situation investigation.Students’ learning situation survey results: part of the purpose of learning is not clear; most of thestudents do not form their own learning methods; professional selection in the presence of blind faith;university students’ lack of autonomy.In the mastery to college students the basic learning situation, through data analysis and interviewssummed up the effect of students’ learning situation factors mainly in the following points:(1) the student’sown problem is mainly manifested in the lack of learning motivation, learning did not fit, professionalidentity is weak.(2) the teaching performance of the main factors in the construction of curriculum system and teaching content lag; single teaching method, the lack of teaching art; on student academic assessmentis relatively backward.(3) environmental factors: market economy and adverse public opinion on CollegeStudents’ learning effects; job stress; school learning atmosphere for students’ interest in learning effects.According to the college students’ learning problems, combined with the present situation of highereducation reform, this paper puts forward the measures and recommendations for improving collegestudents’ learning.(1) to establish a "student-centered" teaching philosophy;(2) to establish the learningguidance levels for the core of the reform of teaching contents;(3) reflect the improvement of CollegeStudents’ learning status of the improvement of teaching methods;(4) formation is consistent with the goalsof higher education of the college students’ academic evaluation;(5) to improve the college students’learning environment.
