The implementation of the new round senior middle school curriculum reform requests the teacher’s professionalization higher and higher. Facing the challenge of the new Curriculum Revolution, the improvement of teacher’s professional level becomes more pressing. And "teachers as researchers" is not only the important way to improve their professional level, but also is the earnest call of times. High school teachers can not only improve the scientific research ability and the professional qualification, it also can be beneficial to the development of teaching work by participating in education and scientific research. Although the slogan of "teachers as researchers" is advocated more and more, the current of teacher’s education scientific research is dissatisfactory. Under the background of the new curriculum reformation is implemented,, from the point of view of scientific research on mathematics education by senior middle school teachers, the author analyzed the current high school mathematics teachers’ education scientific research through the two follow studies.The first study has used the questionnaire survey and the interviews unify to research mathematics teachers of three high schools in Wuhan. It’s concerned about their knowledge of education scientific research, the intention of scientific research training, the situation of their scientific research, and both the internal and external factors which are influence high school teachers education scientific research. The survey results show that there are some problems of high school mathematics teachers engaging in education and scientific research, such as the confusing of education and scientific research knowledge, lack essential education and teaching theory and problem awareness, the scientific research ability and quality needs to be improved, many of the factors restrict teacher’s research and so on. The second study is analysis the articles which are published on "mathematics communication","the middle school mathematics issue","the middle school mathematics journal" and included by CNKI between2006and2011, these articles must be written by mathematics teachers high school.In order to know about the characteristics and develop tendency, the author has analyzed these articles from time, region, research subjects and methods. Thus we can find that the number of this kind of articles increased year by year, but there exist significant regional differences. In the same time, the contents of research are more and more, but some of the scientific research’s value is not great.According to the conclusions of the two studies, the author made a number of improvement suggestions for the front-line teachers carrying out the education and scientific researches and expected these measures could be helpful when teachers and high schools take measures in the future.
