Colleges and universities of Xinjiang play an important role in the development of higher education development and talent fostering and promoting in western region. But the quality of higher education in Xinjiang still has many problems. young university teachers’professional development is a prominent issue in the Xinjiang region. Promotion and realization of Xinjiang young university teachers’professional development is very important to narrow the gap between the developed provinces and it is also important to improve the quality of higher education in Xinjiang.In the process of this research, using Literature research, survey method, interview and this paper takes one university of XinJiang province as the research case, makes a deep research teachers’professional development of university. This paper starts with three angles to explore the XinJiang region of young university teachers’professional development, which is individual teacher factor, teacher living and working environment factors, the special intervention activities to promote teacher development. The writer sums up the following problems:First, Young Teacher’s professional development goals are not clear, sense of professional development is poor, Professional development motivation is utilitarian; Second, Teachers’professional development approach rarely, limited the effectiveness of teacher professional development, professional development to the lack of normalization; Last, Young teachers are under a lot of pressures, lacking of communication with each other, Lacking of harmonious relationships, lacking of a supportive work environment.The causes of these problems are:1. Teachers’awareness. Teacher role identity gap is big; Lack of Ideal of Lifelong Education; Self-development are not enthusiastic and lack of self awareness of professional development.2. Universities aspects. Lack of a sound training system; Lack of the promotion of young teachers’professional development platform; Lack of the promotion of young teachers’professional development platform.3. Government. Shortage of funds; Deviation of the role of government.This paper process some measures and suggestions to promote the teacher’s professional development of universities in XinJiang.1. Teachers should improve ethics cultivation and respect for the students. Reasonable to develop a professional development plan, to strengthen the awareness of professional development, and be good at reflection; continuous learning, and strengthen the awareness of lifelong learning.2. External supports. The universities should develop a young teacher training programs and improve train assurance system. Improve the quality of teacher training and enrich teachers’training methods and content of teacher training. Establish the evaluation mechanism for teacher professional development-oriented. Create a fair and democratic atmosphere and create an environment that is conducive to academic innovation. Government should strengthen its focus on the professional development of young teachers.
