Study On The Intervention Of Social Work In The Construction Of Community Management System

A lot of regions launch different practice in order to construct a perfect system ofcommunity management, and then they get the fantastic achievement. However, there stillexist several important problems, such as government intervene too much, thepossessiveness of community self-government is weak, and community lack non-profitorganizations. As a discipline of “helping people help themselves” and a professionalmethod, essence and function of participating in the construction of communitymanagement system reflect its necessity and urgency.This paper focuses on the research and discourse of X Community located in Jinchang District of Suzhou. As an exemplary community it obtains various of honors andthere are half of professional social workers, it set up a work station which becomes aexcellent feature of the management system. Therefore, I chose the object to research. Thisarticle intends to study of how social work involves participation mechanisms of thecommunity residents and promotes residents participate in self-government ofcommunity.Coordination mechanisms of service are precondition, and fundingmechanisms of financial resources are its protection, let the favorable results andencountered difficulties achieved in the intervention process and encounter predicamentinspire and promote the construction of management system of community, in order toimprove community self-government capacity, the corresponding reform and innovationare needed.
