The Research About Training Objectives For Undergraduate Education Of Gansu Province

"The training objectives is educating people, that is the basic value of the university and the most important reason for its existence"’［1］ At present, China is in the critical period of transition in all respects, the State proposes to speed up the pace of powers made by the human resources to human resources power, from education major powers to education power forward, which has a big main force for the high education, but also put forward higher requirement to people. With such opportunities and challenges, we must recognize that higher education can not fully meet the country’s social economic development and the people’s diverse education needs, to achieve this goals, we need to reform higher education reform of personnel training. It’s a prominent problem that colleges and universities have some re-graduate education and light the undergraduate teaching, At the same time, employment of undergraduates to become a real problem, then how can we cultivate useful talent to local economic development and society of undergraduate education? So we must begin form training objectives of undergraduate education.With the support of topics, author have the personnel training programs and teaching programs for the14colleges in Gansu province. First, from the meaning of the training objectives, analysis the four key elements of training objectives,which are utility specifications, quality requirements, social value, practical direction; Second, from this four dimensions, analysis the situation and problems of undergraduate education’s training objectives in Gansu province, which have some problems, there are confusing, incomplete, convergence, lack of features, no personality and so on; Third, compared the training objectives with other colleges and universities; Fourth, based on the above theory, we can take seven strategies:strengthen the theoretical study about training objectives, training objectives based on the position the university itself, combining the outstanding and prominent the characteristics, personnel training objectives closely integrated with local economic and social development, to seek the balance of the all-round development and students’personality in training objectives, highlight the applicability of the undergraduate education’training objectives, training objectives should permeate the education ideas and concepts. Author look forward to develop some inspiration for training objectives of undergraduate education in Gansu, and to cultivate the talents that have a higher quality and more in line with the requirements of economic and social.
