As an important part of Guangxi’ s higher education, private collegesand universities of Guangxi are playing a significant role in cultivatingtalents, promoting economic development and popularizing highereducation. With10years’ development, Guangxi private vocational collegeshave got great achievements in scale, quality and so on,and recognized bysociety increasingly. However the issues of human resources managementappear gradually, such as weak concept in HR management, lack ofplanning in HR management, neglecting the teachers’ training, unreasonableassessment to teaching staffs, and so on. These issues have become anobstacle to the further development of Guangxi private vocational colleges.How to solve the current issues, so as to guarantee the sustainabledevelopment of Guangxi private vocational colleges, has been an urgentproblem. This is the starting point of this paper.The paper first introduces the background and significance of thetopic, and makes a brief introduction of Guangxi F College and its HRmanagement status quo. Then it mainly analyzes the current situation ofHR management at Guangxi private vocational colleges, and its existingproblems and causes on the basis of the concept of private vocationalcolleges, human resources, human resources management and so on.The paper sums up the successful and representative experiences in HRmanagement of vocational colleges at home and abroad, Hong Kong andTaiwan. Finally, it proposes a strategy on how to improve the HRmanagement at Guangxi private vocational colleges on the basis of theprevious comprehensive analysis:the government should strengthenpolicy support and management oversight, and the school itself shouldtake the initiative to improve.
