Junior high school art "Modeling; Performance" learning area is a very basic and important field of study throughout the Junior high school art course, however, due to the current that many teaching models are for the study of the overall curriculum of junior high school art, not against the study of specific teaching model of one learning areas, so this paper did a preliminary study on this area. From reasch the meaning of "Modeling; Performance", the position in the Junior high school art course, the teaching situation, tne characteristics of drawing development on this stage, combining teaching practices and theories, have a more comprehensive understanding of this course, and focus on teaching mode exploration. The "Modeling; Performance" learning area is divided into two parts, painting and handmaking. This paper proposed three different teaching modes.Teaching model need to be adjusted as the times and social changes, and should be student-centered, combine with new curriculum standards, become more meaningful and operable.
