With the implementation of the New Curriculum,the evaluation of the classroomteaching has changed positively and the significance and role of it are recognised aswell. By investigating the Chinese classroom teaching evaluation in three junior middleschools in Chang Chun, following achivements are attained: Classroom teachingevaluation is frequently conducted; the goal of it has transited from checking teachingoutcomes and grading into promoting learning and teaching with assessment; theproportion of teachers’ activities has reduced in order to highlight students’ role inclassroom.However, a great number of problems still exist at prsent, such as: evaluationconcept is old; evaluation has not played the positive function on improving teaching;evaluation has been ignored by parents; the quality of teachers’ evaluation is not veryhigh; Unless all these problems has been solved, the revolution of classroom evalutionin China can change fundamentaly.Based on the effective teaching, humanistic psychology and new basic educationaltheory, this paper proposes that the Chinese classroom teaching in junior middle shouldhave reasonable and rich teaching content, the competence training should be solid andeffective; the teaching atmosphere should be demoratic and harmonious; the features ofteachers’ style should be distinctive. In order to make the Chinese classroom evaluationin junior middle school implemented more smoothly, this thesis proposes someimplementation strategies of it: changing the concept of educational evaluation;combining the students’ evaluation with teacher’s evaluation; establishing the evaluation system by working together; strengthening the literacy construction ofteachers. |
