Effective teaching is a new teaching concept which has been more accepted by current international society. Effective teaching, which aims at cultivating students' innovation ability, practical ability, autonomous learning and self-development abilities, meets the requirements of quality education. As a teaching concept, effective teaching can be combined with mathematics teaching, which pays more attention to students' participation, experience and emphasizes on new law, new phenomena exploring by themselves. In this way, the students can not only combine the knowledge and skills they learned with practice, but also develop a good personality characteristic and study habit of questioning, exploring and experiencing. A good personality characteristic and study habit hastens the students' lifetime study as well as mathematics teaching. Effective teaching, which concentrates on students' innovation spirit and practical ability, has a far-reaching meanings in fundamental education.This paper discusses how to implement effective teaching in mathematics in high school. The thesis is divided into four parts:The first part is the outline of effective teaching, which mainly introduces the theoretical research of effective teaching at home and abroad. It mainly illustrates the outline, the understanding and the significance of effective teaching in mathematics classroom.The second part discusses the criterion and factors of effective teaching in high school mathematics.The third part focuses on the strategies of effective teaching in classroom mathematics.The fourth one discusses how to carry out effective teaching in classroom mathematics.This paper is based on traditional mathematics teaching, reforms the traditional teaching ideas and methods, ect. It also constructs the teaching model of inquiry learning and emphasizes the specific implementation strategy of effective teaching in mathematics.
