Multimedia is brought into the class as a modern teaching method,it changes the traditional teaching models to the new ones in form, andit brings new life and vitality to class. The use of multimedia teaching ofpolitical courses in middle schools is obviously highlighted. Multimediateaching can break through the textbooks and teachers’ ownlimitations, and it can give the class multi-faceted sensory experiencewhich present large amount of information, texts, pictures, audios andvideos to effectively expand the textbook. And it can provide rich anddetailed examples to explain the theoretical point of view in order toobtain the recognition and conviction of students. Multimedia teachingcan provide the large amount of information to improve the teachingefficiency in a given period time. Furthermore, teachers can takeadvantage of multimedia teaching to stimulate students’ interests. Italso can expand students horizons and help teachers to break throughthe keys and difficulties in teaching, which may achieve the goal ofteaching to improve the teaching effectively. So the obvious change isthat the using of multimedia teaching of political courses in middleschools prompted the shift of the teachers’ education concept, it sethigher demands on teachers’ professional qualities and abilities.Multimedia teaching brings the Gospel to classroom teaching.When an advanced science and technology brings the benefits topeople, it can also brings the dark side if it isn’t used appropriately, itseffect would be poor or even counterproductive. In the actual politics’class of middle schools, there are some misunderstandings when ateacher gives courses with the multimedia. The author makes summaryand reflections of the mistakes which teachers tend to make throughinterviews with teachers, questionnaires with students and lecturesobservation records. I hope trying to help teachers avoid these errors through these wrap-ups. According to the common misunderstandings,the author also puts forward several recommendations on mediastrategy for the middle school political courses, requiring teachers tocombine traditional teaching and multimedia teaching appropriately.Taking advantage of multimedia teaching to create the situation toinduce students learning interests, while take into account theinteractions between students and teachers, students’ interactions. Theteachers should also summarize the multimedia teaching timely after alesson, and then modify the multimedia teaching skills based onstudents’ feedbacks in order to produce its advantages better in thepolitical courses in middle schools.
