Based On Reading For Teacher Professional Development Research

In recent years, with the changing educational situation, learning teachers are called gradually, so promoting teachers’professional development has become an important issue in the educational reform and teachers’education field. But over the years, researchers often focused on the external factors and measures, but neglected to explore the mechanism of teachers’professional development from the internal factors, and ignored the significance and urgency of teachers’learning. From some correlational reports, we found that most teachers lack of self-directed learning motivation, such as lacking of teachers’reading,because of work intensity, learning attitude and so on. However, either as the traditional sense of "scholar""intellectual", or as the individual development; either the inherent requirements of this occupation, or the requirements and expectations of the times, it decides the necessity of reading for teachers. Therefore, reading is one of the most important way to keep the profession develop, and it is the ontology of professional life of teachers; reading can not only eliminate the technical doctrine tendencies in the teachers’ professional development, but also mend the "plateau" phenomenon in the professional development of teachers. In a sense, reading has an inherent relation with the growth of teachers’ professional life.This article makes the teachers’reading as the entry point of the professional development. On the basis of theoretical analysis, we take Lizhenxi, Ganguoxiang and Huayinglong as three typical examples, and analyse their reading lives and then try to explore the mechanism which can improve the professional development of teachers, so that other teachers can get scientific basis and grow up better and better.The whole article is divided into seven chapters.The first chapter introduces the reason of choosing this topic, method, the purpose and the significance of the study, and definits the center conception; The second chapter mainly overviews the status about the correlational researches; The third chapter introduces the theoretical basis about this topic; The fourth chapter mainly introduces the significance of teachers’reading; In chapter five, we analyse three examples’reading lives in order to explore the mechanism that can improve the professional development of teachers; In chapter six, the mechanism of the teacher professional development that base on teachers’reading is constructed, and an enviroment for teachers’learning is created; The last chapter summarizes the entire study.
