Since the1990s, the ever-changing multimedia computer technology and networkcommunication technologies accelerate the process of modern information technology,whichmake people enter into the information age. In order to meet the requirements of the new era,our educational methods and learning styles changed. Research topic about integration ofinformation technology and curriculum was raised in the context of educationalmodernization.A new round of mathematics curriculum reform also actively promotes the integration ofinformation technology and curriculum, such as “high school mathematics curriculumstandards (experimental)" which points "high school mathematics curriculum should bepromoted to achieve the organic integration of information technology and curriculumcontent.”At present, in the various regions of the country, schools are deeply developing explorationand practice of integrated IT and mathematics courses. In order to know informationtechnology and mathematics curriculum integration in Yantai area, the authorcommunicate and conduct questionnaires surveys with some mathematics teachers insecondary schools to analysis of the problems and put forward some advice.The first part introduced the significance of the study on the IT background of themathematics curriculum integration and background, research methods in theory and practice.Part II: First the integration of domestic and international IT and mathematics curriculum.Through collecting, organizing the literature, the author first concrete the United Kingdom,the United States, followed by a brief description of the research in Japan, France, Germany,the last of our research; describes the theoretical basis of integrated information technologyand the mathematics curriculum-constructivism. Part III: analysis of Yantai first-ratesecondary school teachers in the form of the questionnaire about information technology andmathematics curriculum integration. The first part describes the survey design andimplementation, including the objectives of the survey respondents, the survey content, andmethod of investigation. Followed by analysis of survey results, including the currentsituation of information literacy teachers, the attitude of teachers’ technology needs, teachers’understanding of integrated information technology and the mathematics curriculum, teachers use in teaching mathematics IT, teacher use of information technology in teachingmathematics the feelings of teachers in the use of information technology in teachingmathematics the feelings of teachers in the use of information technology in mathematicsteaching, mathematics teaching affect the seven factors of IT applications by the vivid imageof the chart shows the survey data, and analyzes the causes. Part IV: Some Thoughts andSuggestions. Based on field visits and data analysis, summarizes the Yantai area ofinformation technology and the integration of the mathematics curriculum of the reasons isthe impact of the information literacy of teachers and educational philosophy is limited andthe Yantai area information construction backward, four recommendations are given:establish a correct philosophy of education, improve the teachers’ information technicalliteracy, increase the training of teachers, and strengthen the hardware and software resourcesof the school.
