"Algorithm and program design" is an important teaching content ofinformation technology in high school, its also the difficulty in teaching. InformationTechnology curriculum standards require students to achieve such a goal:studentsshould "base on the problems, analyze them and find out the essence of them; thenchoose and design proper Algorithm. Ultimately realize the solving of problems byusing some sort of programming language to program, enhancing informationliteracy as well.From July2004, the publish of Shanghai primary and secondaryschool mathematics curriculum standards,"Algorithm preliminary" as a requiredcourse has been added to high school mathematics teaching. The fourth point inlearning requirement and suggestions for activities from <<Shanghai primary andsecondary school mathematics curriculum standards>> points: pay attention tocombine it with algorithm in information technology lessons, focusing on the analysisof mathematics content and the design of algorithm. This part put forward algorithmteaching and research nationwide. Algorithm content appears both in informationtechnology in senior one and in mathematics in senior two, which embodies theimportance of Algorithm teaching in high school. As to the Algorithm teaching is notfamiliar to most of the mathematics teachers in high schools, while its familiar toinformation technology teachers, its necessary to combine the two subjects on thepoint of mathematics teaching.The integration of information technology and mathematics refers to theorganic integration of information technology with course structure, course content,curriculum resources and curriculum implementation, which will be an organic partof the course. In this study, by means of a literature study, questionnaire, testing,teaching experiments to probe the teaching methods of the algorithm. The studyreviews the concept of the algorithm, the meaning of integration as well as thesetting up of this course and current research home and abroad; base on thecurriculum standards for information technology and mathematics, try to combineinformation technology with algorithm teaching in mathematics, which aims to offer the chance for students to experience the methods and features of algorithm as wellas to cultivate students exploring spirit and practical ability. By practical research,there are two preliminary conclusions from this study as following:1. Integration of teaching is conducive to the construction and maintenance ofsubject knowledge, which will enhance the effectiveness of teaching.2.The integration of teaching effectively mobilize the enthusiasm of students,stimulate their interest in learning and their improve academic performance. |
