The occurrence of disastrous incidents exerts shocking negative impact on youth.Irresistible natural forces and complicated social factors included, there are morethought-provoking reasons like the negligence to life and lack of life education. In recentyears, the importance and necessity of life education for teenagers has caused more concern inschools’ management and academic circus, however from the point of the education teachingpractice and the social activity level it is still lack of self-consciousness in knowledge andpractical efficiency.By using literature research and case analysis, the thesis analyzes life and life educationtheory in depth and probes the cause of deficiency in teenagers’ life education. The first partof this thesis emphasizes the meaning of life and life education, also particularity of theteenagers. In the second part, through the analysis of different types of typical case in thecatastrophic emergency, the thesis probes the deep reason for serious phenomenon ofdeficiency in teenagers’ life education. In order to solve the problem mentioned above thethird part puts forward practical measures for teenagers’ life education to cope withcatastrophic emergency.
