The quality of the team directly determines the university’s quality of teaching and the personal training quality in that university teachers act as the main part of university. University competition is just the teachers’ team competition. The core of the university is a group of teachers with high quality, strong teaching ability in scientific research and powerful effects. This paper, written in the background of the research on teachers’ professional development, is based on three teaching masters in Hunan normal university and makes integrated use of archives, interviews and the case study research to describe the three teaching masters’ professional growth process, and discusses some problems, such as the influence factors to their growth process and the growth stage characteristics.This paper is divided into five chapters:Introduction:Introduce the cause of the case study of professional growth of teaching masters in university, the current research situation, the definition of the concept, the research methods and research significance.The first part:The professional growth course of three teaching masters in Hunan normal university. A detailed description of the three teaching masters’growth process and an appropriate comment as well as a summary.The second part:The theory analysis of university teachers’ professional development. Make a study summary about some characteristics in the teachers’professional development, such as complexity, phase and regularity, and do a multiple perspectives analysis about the influence factors on teachers’professional development.The third part:Suggestions and countermeasures about university teachers’professional development. Put forward some relevant Suggestions and countermeasures to promote the professional development of teachers in university.Conclusions:University teachers’ professional growth is a complicated system, which should make the deal with the relationship between each aspect.
