Geography is the science of studying the geographical environment and the relationship between human activities and geographical environment, which focuses on experience. Organizing the geography activities and guiding the students to learn geography are the important means of geography teaching. The national education policies of "The outline of basic education curriculum reform" and " compulsory education geography curriculum standard, the2011edition " call for reforming of teaching methods of geography, guiding the students to learn the geography that is useful to their life and development, opening up the construction of the geography curriculum.Based on the activity teaching of geography in junior high school, the paper discussed the connotation and the implementation plan of activities teaching of geography and through literature research and case study and other methods.The first part of the paper is the exordium.
