Blended learning forms from both E-learning and classroomteaching. It is a kind of teaching strategies which directed bydifferent learning theory and technology. Blended learning providesa lot of opportunities to the development of education.Blended learning needs the support of virtual learningenvironment. As an open source software, MOODLE is better thanany other software for its supporting of diversified teaching, creatinga good environment for students to learn better. MOODLE is widelywell used around the world. Because MOODLE is easy to beinstalled, used and it involves integrated multiple resources, theauthor wishes to design blended learning on MOODLE to solvesome problems in chemistry teaching. The students of shanghaishinan high middle school is sample of the study. The study resultshows that MOODLE-based blended learning is effective onachieving the course goals, improving the learning ability and risingpositive motivation of learning.
