Problem Existing In The Current<Chinese Textbooks For Junior High School Students:Grade7-9> Through Analyzing<Selected Literature> And<Chinese Hundred Eight Units>

As a medium of teaching, textbooks are not only the basic bond of knowledge transmission between teachers and students, but also are the basic form for knowledge to be expressed materially. The form of expression of Chinese teaching more greatly depends on the editing of textbooks, and its editing plays a key role in the level of education.Throughout history, many classical collections are used as models of education after it was completed or spread, no matter what the purpose of the editing is. There are many reasons behind it, while in view of selections, several points are concluded as followings:first, the coverage of the article is more extensive; second, representativeness of the article is stronger; third, the educational purpose of the article is more explicit; forth, the clarification and method of knowledge are clearer. Selected literature>, as one of the earliest existing literature collections, is second to none in both coverage and representativeness; therefore, it received great attention. What’s more, it was used as a reference book to the Imperial Examination in Tang Dynasty. Similarly, as a textbook with relatively strong influence and relatively strong educational significance,<Chinese Hundred Eight Units> has being so well received that some individual teachers still take it as a reference book today. Comprehensive view, the selection, representativeness and coverage have a significant affect on Chinese education. This thesis based on the two collections mentioned above, does analysis in the respect of selecting and editing, and expounds some problems existing in<Chinese textbooks for Junior High School Students:Grade7-9>, and presents corresponding solutions in order to help optimize the existing Chinese education.
