Teachers’work-family conflict refers to a conflict which happens under the condition that the teachers’pressure from work role and family role is incompatible and out of compromise. Middle school teachers play an important role in training students and supporingt family, and they suffer the work family-conflict easily because of the pressure from work and family, and the female teachers may have work-family conflict more easily because of gender. Middle school female teachers work family-conflict influence not only the individual’s work and life, and also the quality of whole elementary education. So it has an important realistic meaning to appropriately handle the middle school teachers work-family conflict and it has become a common research area for the international community, and it has also become an important research topic for education researchers.Overflow compensation theory, boundary theory, role conflict theory, Maslow’s hierarchy theory of needs can be the theoretical basic of teachers work-family conflict. With self-made questionnaire "the urban middle school female teachers working family-conflict " we had a survey in eight middle school in Changsha city Hunan Province and found:the middle school female teachers work-family conflict is between comparative conflicting and conflicting from the whole work-family conflict. And from the different dimensions of work-family conflict, the point of work-family conflict behavior-based is the highest, the conflict is also the most serious, the work-family conflict time-based is second to conflict behavior-based, the work-family conflict pressure-based is second to conflict time-based. Due to different age, education background, professional title, school category, teaching classes, teaching subjects, teaching age, spouse working condition and economic satisfaction, there are remarkable differences in teachers’ work-family conflict. The factors influence the female teachers work-family conflict includes:school factors such as school work time, economic benefits and work pressure; family factors such as spouses’ characteristics and family structure, family support extent; individual characteristics such as individual factors and personal self-efficacy. In order to balance female teachers work-family conflict condition we can take the following strategies:school intervention strategies such as time management, material economic incentive and flexible spirit management, emotional support and instrumental support, creating good soft work environment; family friendly countermeasure such as spouses’ recognition and supporting, promoting family interpersonal experience and using family resources; personal digestion countermeasures such as reducing pouring gender stereotypes, redefining structure character, redefining individual character, improving ability of role demand and having self-adjustment.
