Modern Educational Concept Apply To English Reading Teaching In Senior Schools

reading teaching is one of the most important parts in senior English teaching. The outline of full-time senior schools states definitely:the aim of English teaching in senior schools is to strengthen and enlarge basical knowledge based on English teaching of junior middle schools, in addition, students are trained to develop and improve the basical skills in listening,speaking,reading and writing. In this way can students improve their intercommunicative skills. Besides, English reading teaching in senior schools is paid more attention to recent years. With the development and reform of college entrance examination, the marks of reading cover a greater part(45points).so far the questions of reading part are different from it used to be, such as vocabulary,different kinds of questions and so on.so English reading teaching has become the most important part in English teaching. Because of that,I intend to do some research in the field. I hope to improve the students’reading skill in this way.
