At the beginning of the new century, based on the direct leadership of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, the eighth elementary education curriculum reform is progressing rapidly, making the world’s great attention. To realize the change from the focus on the knowledge to the focus on the attention on every student’s development in primary and middle schools, tens of thousands of teaching staff are devoting themselves to the stream of the reform with a high degree of responsibility and great passion. To achieve the goal that everyone learns the valuable mathematics and that different person has different request of the development in mathematics, the article is to discuss the elastic teaching model on the development of the students’ individuality, which makes each student get the useful knowledge for their lives.Due to the actual situation of the students, like the intellectual level, learning attitude, ability and emotion to learn, the teachers should make different teaching goals, different content, different teaching process and different means of evaluation. To consider the characteristics of every student, the teachers should start class discussion and extracurricular activities, aiming at strengthening what they learn in the class and improving the students’ enthusiasm of study.
