With the rapid development of China’s higher education in recent ten years,university teachers’ team has also expanded rapidly, and young teachers have becomethe major section of university teachers. The job satisfaction level of young universityteachers is not only related to their happiness index in the body and mind, but alsorelated to the quality of teaching and scientific research and to the training quality of thehigh-level talents. In theoretical and empirical way, this paper adopts literature method,interview method, and questionnaire to explore the young university teachers’jobsatisfaction in Jiangxi.This paper firstly traced and analyzed the concept, structure, impact factors,standard measuring methods and tools, on the basis of which we explored the structureof young university teachers’ job satisfaction, constructed evaluation system of younguniversity teachers’ job satisfaction, selected and defined the evaluation indicators,impact factors and evaluation tools of young university teachers’ job satisfaction byusing and absorbing foreign and domestic relevant research results, and combining thecharacteristics of young university teachers.Using the example of H university inJiangxi, we made the effeciency test of the constructed young university teachers’ jobsatisfaction evaluation scale, produced the formal evaluation scale on the basis of thesurvey of this university’s young teachers’ job satisfaction.And then we made use of this evaluation scale to do positive research on the youngteachers’ job satisfaction in H university, analyzed and described this university’syoung teachers’ general condition of job satisfaction and the differences of differentpopulation statistics (gender, marital status, age, academic degree, subject,organizational affiliation, teaching age, professional title, etc) by using statisticanalytical methods.The results of this paper are as follows:Firstly, the evaluation indicators of young university teachers’ job satisfaction canbe generalized into eight factors:the institutional environment, physical environment,interpersonal relationship, job income, job commitment, fulfillment, work pressure, thematch of person-duty. Secondly, the job satisfaction of young university teachers in Jiangxi is high ingeneral.The scores of job commitment, fulfillment, physical environment,interpersonal relationship and the match of person-duty.are higher among others andthe scores of the institutional environment, job income and work pressure are lower,being at the unsatisfactory level.Thirdly, there exist differences at the satisfaction level of young universityteachers in Jiangxi with different individual characteristics.Afer the analysis, this paper proposes the advice specific to the problems found inthe research to further improve the job satisfaction of young university teachers inJiangxi which is based on the above mentioned conclusion....
