The Migrant Children become new members of vulnerable groups in recent years,which refers to the children of the migrants coming to the city with their parents or bornin it, particularly to the group of migrant children studying in the Beijing migrantchildren schools. They mostly live in the conjunction parts between city and country,bearing high liquidity, and living in a relatively poor family; regarding the environmentof their schools, these institutions usually has to encounter a lot of difficulties inpsychological health, systematic education, and the smooth engagement in city life.The traditional social work is based on the problem perspective, trying to diagnoseand cure the subject involved by establish some professional relationship while ignoringthe potential advantage of the subjects. This study, other than the traditional way, fromthe strength perspective, to carry on professional team work to observe the realperformance of the subject to discover the potential hiding in the common negative labelof the subject so as to strengthen such potential, as the way to utilize the resources fromsubjects themselves and the environment. From such work, a full-scope society-supportnetwork can be built to solve the given problem and stands long.This study grounds on the principle that social work purport to serve people, adaptsqualitative research methods, with the reference of past relative research, combined withthe observance and interview methods, to record the deeds of the subjects while they areparticipating in the given activities, to verify the effectiveness of team work having to themigrant children potential.Social work, in essence, is an activity using act to effect another act, and hasuntellable influence on the subjects. Though microcosmic is this study, it vividly describethe problems faced by the migrant children, which replenishes the existing study on thisarea, as the result, the knowledge about the migrant children would be closer to thereality.
