Wu Rulun,is a famous litterateur and outstanding educator in late qingdynasty.He devoted all his life to the cause of education.He claimed back the field andbuilding the college in ShenZhou and JiZhou.He try to rectify and reform thecollege,introduce the western learning when in charge of Lianchi college. As theheadteacher of Peking University,he went to Japan to investigate the educationalsystem to save our country. He made the outstanding contribution to themodernization of education and the transformation of modern education in china.Wu Rulun started Tongcheng middle school in his old age.This based on WuRulun’s visit to Japan.And it’s the first modern school in Anhui province.It’s also theonly practice of Wu Rulun’s modern education. Tongcheng middle school hasexperienced in the late Qing Dynasty,the Republic of China and new China.Theperson of Tongcheng middle school always persist firmly in following Wu Rulun’seducation ideology,adhering to the “Encourage students to become usefulperson”mission,and strive to achieve talent revivalist vision.Research on educational thoughts of Wu Rulun’s inflence on Tongcheng minddleschool has an important guilding significance, and contemporary education systemreform to our country has the certain reference.This paper is divided into six parts:The first part is "introduction" section. This part is about the cause of thesubject,the instructions meaning of the topic, the present study of the topic, proposedthe main method and innovative points of this paper.The second part introduced the background of China and the personal experienceof Wu Rulun to instructions the established background of Tongcheng middle school.The third,fourth and five part presented three typical period of Tongcheng middleschool.Wu Rulun’s education thoughts on talent training objectives, curriculum,teaching, the teachers, the influence of the four aspects present a comprehensiveapplication, gradually blurred, basic desalination trendency.The last part,from three different historical period of Tongcheng middle school on Wu Rulun’s modern educational thoughts,puts forward four reflection,thusrevealing Chinese education system from the modern times to the moderntransformation and the change from premature to mature.
