A new round of college ideological and political theory course reforms began in2005. The reform of college ideological and political theory course made clearrequirements in the compilation of teaching materials,discipline construction,teachertraining and so on. It brought a new curriculum and teaching philosophy. Achieving thephilosophy,we should have the implementation of the teaching behavior.College ideological and political theory course teaching behavior refers to the sumof operation mode in the teaching process that based on teaching philosophy,teachingpersonality,background knowledge,teaching ability and teaching wisdom for collegeideological and political theory course teachers. In order to get solider theoreticalsupport to the development of ideological and political theory course teachingbehavior,the writer had classroom observations,teacher interviews and surveying ofquestionnaires in four universities of Hunan on the basis of the summary of ideologicaland political theory course teaching behaviors in classroom for a exploration in thisfield. The paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction that included background,research review,significance,research methods and probable innovations. The second part is theoverview related to ideological and political theory course teachers’ teaching behaviors,which gave an analysis of the behavior,teaching behavior,and ideological and politicaltheory course teaching behavior,and described its particularity. The third part is surveyof college ideological and political theory course teaching behavior in classroom. In theways of sampling classroom observation,teacher interviews and survey,the six aspectsof the behavior of multimedia presentations behavior,questioning behavior,behavior,and motivational behavior,correcting problem behavior of students were discussed onthe basis of researching the overall situation of college ideological and political theoryteaching behavior. Part IV pointed out the positive aspects of college ideological andpolitical theory course teachers’ teaching behavior and its problems,and gave ananalysis to the influencing factors of ideological and political theory course teachers’teaching behavior,and then told the positive factors that ideological and political theorycourse teaching behavior in classroom emphasize the usage of multimedia,having goodteaching mental state,recognizing heuristic teaching,good self-reflection and otherfactors. The writer also analyzed the existing problems,mainly about the proportion oftelling behavior is too large,the lack of interaction between teachers and students,theformal behavior of asking questions,the lack of correcting actions for students. Thewriter also gave an analysis of influencing factors from the external,internal and teachers. The fifth part is the optimization of college ideological and political theorycourse teachers’ teaching behavior. According to Theory of Planned Behavior,theoverall vision of optimizing the ideological and political theory course teachers’teaching behavior was given. Which make the linkage effects of external factors,internal factors and teachers’ individual factors promote the enhancement of theeffectiveness of college ideological and political theory course teaching behavior inclassroom. Finally,according to the classification of the ideological and political theorycourse teaching behavior in classroom,some sound operating strategies is proposed inthe paper.
