<English curriculum standard> is the basis of Primary school English teaching; itrequires the Primary school English teachers to improve the level of the knowledgestructure and the level of teaching. It is inevitable choice to improve informationizedteaching level of the primary school English teacher, in order to adapt to the newrequirements of information society. The implementation of Modern DistanceEducation Project speeds up the rural basic education information technologyinfrastructure construction, and provides the hardware and software resources supportto rural basic education workers who carry out the information-based teaching.Accelerate rural basic education reform, and promote the implementation of the newcurriculum standard.In the informationized society, with the modern information technology usedwidely in the field of education, the education system has undergone great changes.Education thought, teaching content, teaching methods and so on, have undergonechange, which presented new challenges on the knowledge structure of teachers andteaching skills. It is a pressing matter of the moment to improve teachers’ teachingability of information technology, and promote the professional development ofteachers, so as to make them adapt to the information education need.The research object is rural primary school English teachers who participated in thetraining in Gansu province Baiyin teacher education school in2011. Using themethods of literature research, questionnaire survey, interviews and so on, the authorinvestigated informationized teaching ability’s present situation, training status andthe influence factors of rural primary school English teacher. On this basis, try to putforward some strategy, so as to promote the rural primary school English teachers’teaching ability of information technology.The full text is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction; it focuses on the research background, researchpurpose, research significance, research methods, research contents and the definitionof related concepts and so on. The second part mainly includes related research on the informationized teachingability of teachers and theoretical basis.The third part mainly has carried on present situation analysis of the rural primaryschool English teachers’ teaching ability of information technology development,including the related data collection, collation and statistical analysis.The fourth part mainly includes factor analysis and Countermeasures of ruralprimary school English teacher’s informationized teaching abilities, is expected tohelp the development of information-based teaching ability.The fifth part, the research work in this paper is summarized, summarized theresearch conclusions, and pointed out that the insufficiency and the further researchdirection.This thesis only rural primary school English teachers be regard as the researchobject, did relevant investigation and study of their the informationized teachingability’s present situation and training, on the problem of basic education informationtechnology teaching ability of teachers, we need to do more research. This studyrestricted in vision and shallow in understanding, hope that research in this area canget more attention from scholars.
