Research And Practice On Cultural Construction In Higher Vocational Colleges

Higher vocational education as our country’s most important constituent plays an irreplaceable role in the high-end skilled talents training. Along with the rapid development of our country’s economy and society, the higher vocational education has got more and more the attention of the society, especially the start of the project construction in the national model higher vocational colleges, it has further promoted the development of China’s higher vocational education. Along with reform of the higher vocational education, modern vocational education system and construction of higher vocational colleges, the research of culture construction will be gradually made further. Culture of the higher vocational colleges is subordinate to the college culture category, and has its own characteristics. It is all the members of the higher vocational colleges that have carried out professional education reform and practice in the years so that they can accumulate, precipitate and form their ideas and behaviors, and this culture is the sum total of the material and spiritual wealth of the school.The culture characteristic of higher vocational colleges is depended on its features and mission. Higher vocational education as a kind of education type has its culture with sociality, openness and practicality. At the same time it also has the cultural education, inheritance innovation, service support and radiation function.Further study on culture construction of higher vocational colleges will be fully understanding the different education types and different cultural characteristics so that it is conducive to grasp the essential characteristics of higher vocational education, mission and responsibilities, further carry forward its cultural construction, improve our country’s higher vocational education and sustainable development, and promote its ability of the economic and social service.Based on the intension, characteristics and functions of the university culture, and through comparing the university culture with the higher vocational colleges, this article states that there are sociability, openness and practical applicability of the higher vocational colleges’ culture. For the first time, its cultural construction research and practice has been sorted, and causes of problems among utilitarianism, internal cultural conflict, school-enterprise cultural joint and cultural implement have been objectively and subjectively analyzed. Through its cultural construction of inductive analysis, and with combination with our school culture construction in the practice and exploration, the paper puts forward its system of cultural construction based on the target system, content system, security system, and probes the cultural construction practice and strategy of the higher vocational colleges based on positioning of running a school, its feature and its routing selection of the culture construction.
